Our Approach

Our Approach is get you you in a self Discovery

The Yogalife Yoga Teacher Training is not merely for those who want to become a yoga teacher. The majority of our students start the course to deepen their own knowledge and practice. Throughout the course you will gain a deeper understanding to stay connected to yourself and get into a process of selfdiscovery. By diving into this process you will notice how yoga appears in our lives off the mat.

Yogalife offers a life transformation program that shows you how the yoga tools are a lot more than asanas or postures. You will learn how you can introduce those tools to improve your life and pass them on to your future students as a yoga teacher. The Yogalife yoga training is not limited to yoga on the mat practice.

What you will Learn

How Muscles work

Yoga philosophy with studies of the Patanjali yoga sutras applied to the modern world

The Patanjali Yoga sutras are the most important scriptures for yoga teachers. Through these scriptures Patanjali has provided us with a life management tool. Our whole training is based on the practical application of the Yoga Sutras in our today’s life. It could not be more useful in times like these where we are living in a VUCA world, facing information overload and related stress and tiredness of the mind and body on a daily basis.

How Muscles work

Swadhyaya

Swadhyaya is the yogic principle of self study. At the core of yogic studies it is crucial to know who you are - not as the world sees you or expects you to be. It's rather about the "you" that is present when you drop all the social names and ideas you call yourself and others have assigned to you. This is a life changing process where you study and learn about the Self. You discover the beauty and wisdom and the bliss you have always been.

How Muscles work

Study of Asanas

TEvery weekend we dedicate all afternoon to your know-how about Asanas in our so-called Asana-Clinic. Yogic sciences were always taught in a Guru to student-tradition. Not all the teachings are published in books. The most amazing procedures on how to improve and how to help students to go to the next level are shared in the asana clinic. These processes are not derived from the physical fitness or physiotherapy world; these are real and original methods of yoga.

How Muscles work

Pranayama

You will be learning basics of pranayama and its practice with useful tips to teach in group settings. Without pranayama you would only be knowing some part of yogic science. If Asanas are the tree, Pranayama is the root of that tree and the benefits you get are its fruits. To get a fruitful yoga practice, pranayama knowledge is critical.

How Muscles work

Yogic Anatomy

In line with international standards you will be learning about physical anatomy as well as the yogic perspective on anatomy.

How Muscles work

Relaxation

The practice of Asanas becomes many times more effective when we include the final relaxation in the session design. This process will help you to conduct much needed stress relieving sessions which are high on demand in our todays world.

How Muscles work

Teaching skills

To be able to teach in front of enthusiastic yogis, your confidence and your presence are very important. You will start practicing to teach a group of students from weekend one. You will get feedback from your fellow students as well as support and coaching from your teachers on how to make changes and become that professional you expect from yourself.

How Muscles work

The yogic way off the mat

The yogic principle is all about finding the real you and the treasure you carry inside, that uniqueness you are. The Yogalife teacher's training is an opportunity to discover or uncover that teacher within you. The tools learned in your teacher training will enhance the experience of your life. It will change your relationship to yourself and the world around you for the better. You will bring calmness and satisfaction into your own and into your student's life, too. Whether you are traveling on a bus or working in an office - yoga will become your happy life management tool.

How Muscles work

Support

Teaching and sharing the knowledge of yoga is our passion and mission. Our support will be there for you even after the training is over. We also help you to be part of our global community. To share, to grow and to learn from each other is the best way to make this world a better place.
