A 10-DAY YOGA PROCESS

It is time to organize ourselves in a way that we can catch a breath. In this retreat you will give a sense to your system, to your conscious and subconscious, that your tasks are complete. Just send your mind on a vacation and dive deeper into the joy of life.

Antastha Yatra is a 10 day Yoga process, which presents a unique opportunity to undertake your deepest journey into Yoga and yourself.

Yoga process class

The program name comes from the Sanskrit ‘Antastha’ meaning ‘deepest, within, core or innermost’ and ‘Yatra’, which refers to ‘a journey’. During the retreat, you will be invited to go on a quest into your own core or deepest self, exploring with gentle inquiry the untouched potential you have deep inside.

Yoga process class

Antastha Yatra is purposefully a 10 day Yoga retreat to allow the time for this intensive exploration and unfurling. The journey can be challenging, especially in the early stages, as you work through the more superficial layers of your being, but it does not take too long before the right techniques and support from our expert teachers smoothly guide you to your deepest essence, your own light.

Yoga process class

To gain the most from its offering, we encourage you to enter Antastha Yatra with a mentality of total surrender and with the intention to create a fuller life. Our approach is not only to recover our own self, but to prepare, rejuvenate and cultivate life.

HOW ANTASTHA YATRA WORKS

Step #1 - Gain Clarity We use Svadhyaha, the yogic discipline of self-study, combined with modern techniques to become aware of the current reality, our belief systems and patterns. Profound understanding and clarity about our own lives is what naturally follows.

Step #2 - Understand Yoga We explore, in a transparent way, how Yoga can improve our lives. We consider the different aspects of Yoga, and how each are applicable to our emotions, behavior, circumstances and health. Basically we create a real understanding how Yoga works.

Step #3 - Integrated Learning We choose the most effective, applicable Yoga techniques to create a difference in your life. We teach you how to implement and integrate these, both on and off your Yoga mat. These tools will allow you, in time, to profoundly change your relationship with yourself and move towards happiness.

Working through the journey, we guide you with a carefully designed program of lectures, practices and processes. We recognize that you are already whole, and are already at a unique and special place in your life. You will bring with you the benefit of some obvious prior learnings and some more subtle influences which may not yet be visible. Our role is to help you to embrace all of this as you will simply move deeper. That means that elements of the process may seem effortless, and almost unnoticeable until you start to experience the difference in your overall well-being.

The process draws on carefully selected, powerful elements of the vast field of yogic learning. This will include Svadhyaya (self-study), Antastha Kriya and Patanjali’s concepts. We will also integrate potent Hatha Yoga techniques such as Yoga Nidra, Antar Mouna, Tratka, Pranayama and Shoonya meditation. The experience will be integrated, thorough and deep.

In between morning and afternoon lecture, we keep some time to rejuvenate ourselves completely.

We finish our evening class just in time to watch the amazing sunset. A refreshing shower, nice dinner and socializing with the group or the locals, are a perfect way to end the day.
